Sand the cup with sandpaper so that the paint will adhere more easily. Wipe off any residue and make sure the cup is clean and dry. I used four coats of black metallic. Let dry completely between each coat and let dry completely overnight. Cut the black paper into a circle about a half inch wider than the cup. Glue the cup to the center of the circle piece. Cut a white strip of paper 8 inches long and 3/4 of an inch wide. Secure the white strip about a half an inch about the bottom. Cut the shiny paper into a square about 1 inch long and 3/4 inch wide and then cut a small square into the square so that the white paper shows and it looks like a buckle. Secure to the top of the white strip of paper. Load the forks and knives into the top. Also see our Turkey Napkin Holder Craft.
